The Safest Place to Play

Image
Yesterday was a fantastic day to go for a walk and play with my furry baby and so I recalled that I already had S. Jessie's permission to visit St. Mary's College School and bring with me my Dog where we can freely play at the school ground, thus I rushed to prepare myself and my dog so we can have plenty of time outside, His aunt agreed to come with us and we're all excited about going to school to have some fun. When we arrived at the school, my friend Rocille, was already there with her two kiddos playing basketball and riding a bicycle, I thought maybe Rocille, got my message that we will be going to St. Mary's college, I felt much happier seeing her and the kids, I can't just walk my dog and play with him but I can also talk to my friend and play basketball with the kids. I felt like I was draining energy from all the walking and running with my dog around the campus. I ask my sister to look after my dog and walk away so I can sneak out to buy some refreshmen

A Mission For Stray Dogs

Image
Meet my new friend, Christian Nhel Fedelson, whom I met through Facebook, you can reach him out through this link: https://www.facebook.com/christiannhel.fedelson.3 I was touched by his genuine love and care for stray dogs when I saw his posts on Facebook and when I go through his account I saw that he even have a rescued dog and cat which made me more curious and so I eventually ask myself if I can join him with his mission and so I send him a personal message through FB Messenger.  Cara, The Rescued Dog and Storm, the Rescued Cat I invited him first to be one of my contributors or an author for my pet blog, but unfortunately, he refused to say that he is not into reading and writing content, I understand him and respected his decision. I think asking him to be one of my contributors might be a good platform to share the mission he started and it'll also help him find potential donors which will help him fund the stray dogs.   Knowing that he declined my invitation, I ask him

The 1st Walk in Boulevard

Bambit @ 6 months old with his fur Aunt I felt the happiness and excitement of walking my dog in the park for the very first time, and I guess my fur baby feels the same way but a bit nervous. This was his second day with us here in our place and it made me feel that I have a great deal of duty coming that I am entitled to do. My head just can't stop thinking about how would I be able to raise him, questions of "what", "when", "how", "if" are sinking in my mind and I said to myself,  "There is no need for you to worry for tomorrow or for the future, what matters is today." I have been helping, accompanying, and taking care of my family members for a long time and I'm good at that job, task, you name it, so for what reason would I be stressed if it's just a dog that I will be dealing with.

The Skin and Coat Issues

Image
The first time he visits the vet with his fur Aunt. This was taken on November 23, 2019, in  Borongan Vet clinic. During those days I wasn't there with him and the one who took care of Bambit, was his Aunt Tisay, who is my younger sister. My fur baby was having issues with his skin and coat. He was having skin rashes resulting in hair loss which made me worry. That is why I ask my sister if she could bring him to a nearby clinic and fortunately she did answer my favor. The doctor's diagnosis of Bambit's skin rashes was said to be caused by mites which might be from other dogs or from the environment. The Doctor prescribed the Vetnoderm, a medicated soap that is Anti-fungal and Anti-bacterial. It's glad to say that the prescribed soap was effective in my pet's skin and coat issues it lessens the rashes and his fur was growing back to normal. From that experience when he was a puppy I become more conscious and obsessed with the cleanliness of his surroundings, especia

Chillin' Afternoon

Image
We typically go through our end of the week at home however yesterday was an extraordinary day since it's our first time taking a stroll in the recreation center simply both of us. I truly felt his satisfaction and fervor through seeing his tail sways and grinning while I'm making efforts of his photos. While we're sitting down on a bench, there is a boy who approached us while the other boy was sitting on the other side of the sea wall just simply observing us  while his companion is conversing with me.  I was  somewhat apprehensive  at first. The older boy who approached me, ask me about my canine  thus we had a discussion . He  was truly inspired by canines , he disclosed  to me that he likewise has a pet and that causes  me to feel at ease  he said something regarding his canine.  He asks me so much stuff like the name of my dog, how old is he, where do we live, if my dog has already infused with anti-rabies and different antibodies and  I addressed his inquiries sincer

Separation Anxiety

Image
His first three (3) months with us was a bit difficult especially at home when am about to leave him even just for a second or minute Bambit, always wants to run after me, whining and crying, and I feel guilty hearing that sound and seeing him wants to be freed in his pen and leash. How he overcomes his minor separation anxiety? I was kind of making an observation over my experimental techniques on him, I didn't do such special commands, I think he was used to his daily routine like going for a walk early in the morning and late afternoon doing his thing and running around, leaving him inside his pen for hours while I'm doing my things and going town, napping and resting above the table, stuff like that.  I trained him not to stay with me for a long time in a day so it'll not be hard for both of us whenever I'm not around. But he knows when I'm going somewhere or if I'm leaving the house even though he doesn't see me, his instinct and sense of smell are supe

The Traits of my Japanese Spitz X Shih Poo

Image
Having a dominant breed of a Japanese Spitz over a  Shih Poo is tiring though exciting. He's a dog who loves to sleep and be in the outdoors, he also acts jealous whenever my attention is with other dogs. Check out  his traits below.                                            Active Playful Energetic Companionable Moody Dramatic Besides the mentioned traits above Bambit, is also a lovable and cuddly type of furry baby which I also love. It's not that hard to handle his energy since I am also a type of person who is physically active and we both gain from it. The funny thing is that I cannot catch up a bit when he wants to run by himself while on a leash thus making me dragged. I remember one time when he was accidentally set free from his leash and played with other dogs, I was amazed by his speed, he really runs so fast that other dogs cannot catch up with him, and for some reason, I felt happy and proud of him.
